Issue
On certain school buses, the warning light for the antilock brake system (ABS) doesn't stay on when there's a problem with the system, and the vehicle is moving.
Safety risk
A driver that is not warned about a problem with the antilock brake system could have an increased risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
Navistar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your bus to a dealership to update the brake system electronic control unit software.
