Issue
Issue:
On certain school buses, the rear interior side body panels may not have been attached correctly. As a result, the buses may not meet the joint strength requirements of Canadian regulations.
Note: This recall affects both Saf-T-Liner C2 school buses and Saf-T-Liner C2 Jouley (electric) school bus models.
Safety Risk:
A body joint that is not strong enough could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your bus to a DTNA authorized service facility to add more fasteners to the rear interior side body panel joints.
