Issue

This recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2024-611. Issue: On certain motorcycles, a problem with the front brake master cylinder could cause the brake lever to move an increased distance before the brakes apply. If this happens, there could be reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause an extended stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Suzuki will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the front brake master cylinder.
