Transport Canada Recall - 2023030 - LION ÉLECTRIQUE

Issue: On certain school buses, the rubber mounts for the main hydraulic pump could break and cause the pump to detach from the frame. This could cause a sudden loss of power steering assist or a loss of high-voltage power. Safety Risk: A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low speeds, and increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Lion Électrique will contact owners and arrange for a service team to remove the rubber mounts from the main hydraulic pump.
