Issue
Issue:
On certain vehicles, a programming error could cause the hazard lights to turn on unexpectedly. As a result, you would no longer be able to signal your intention to turn with the turn signals.
Safety Risk:
Hazard lights that do not work properly could cause confusion. Additionally, turn signals that do not work may cause a person not to recognize that the vehicle intends to turn. Both of these conditions could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
CFMOTO recommends that you should not drive your vehicle until the recall repairs are completed. CFMOTO will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the manufacturing code on the flasher module. It will be replaced, if necessary.
