Issue
Issue:
On certain SDE and SDF step-deck semi-trailers, the cargo securement winch located on the rear of the trailer may not be properly welded. As a result, the cargo winch mount could fail and allow cargo to come loose.
Note: This recall only affects trailers equipped with a beavertail style ramp.
Safety Risk:
Cargo that comes loose or falls from the trailer could create a risk of injury and create a road hazard for others.
Corrective Actions:
Lode King will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to add a weld on the rear cargo winch.
