Issue

On certain refuse trucks, the tracking rod brackets on the drive axles could break. If this happens, the tracking rod could detach and cause sudden loss of vehicle stability.

Safety risk

A sudden loss of stability could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective actions

Paccar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to install reinforcements on the tracking rod brackets.
