Transport Canada Recall - 2022721 - FORD

Issue: On certain vehicles, the side-impact sensors may not be secured correctly. As a result, the side airbags may not work properly in a side-impact crash. Note: This recall only affects 4-door models. Safety Risk: An airbag that does not work properly could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, secure the driver and passenger side-impact sensors.
