Issue
On a small number of vans, the brake lines may be too long and/or routed incorrectly. As a result, the brake hoses could wear and create a brake fluid leak, which could cause reduced braking.
Safety risk
Reduced braking can cause increased stopping distances and create the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
Xos Inc. will notify owners by mail. The affected brake lines and related hardware will be replaced at no cost to the owner.
