Issue
On certain trailers, the check valve mounted on the air tank could break. If this happens, the service brakes will lose pressure and the emergency brakes will apply.
Safety risk
A sudden loss of service brakes or the self-application of the emergency brakes while driving could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
Lode King will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the check valve on the air tank.
