Issue
On certain trailers equipped with a Dexter Smart-Steer 2.0 self-steering axle, the steer arm that attaches to the knuckle could break. If this happens, the steer arm could fall from the trailer.
Safety risk
Parts that fall from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
Tremcar will notify owners by email and instruct you to make arrangements with a Dexter authorized service facility to replace the steer arms on your trailer.
