Issue
Issue:
On certain trucks, a buildup of heat and pressure inside the transmission could cause fluid to leak from the transmission dipstick tube.
Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a Cummins 6.7 L diesel engine and a 68RFE automatic transmission.
Safety Risk:
A transmission fluid leak could create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the transmission dipstick and vent assembly.
