Issue

Issue:
On certain tires, the bead rubber may have been curt or torn when the tires were unloaded at the factory. Over time, this damage could create an air leak that can lead to a tire failure.
Note: The damage could progress over time and cause noise, vibration, sidewall bulges, and/or irregular tread wear.

This recall affects the following tires:
- Firestone Destination LE2 with date codes 2522 to 2822, originally installed on 2022 Toyota Tacoma models.
-Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S with date codes 2422 to 2722, originally installed on 2022 Toyota Highlander models.

Safety Risk:
A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Bridgestone will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a Bridgestone/Firestone authorized retailer or a Toyota dealer to inspect and, if necessary, replace the tires.
