Issue
On a small number of LFS electric buses, the coolant hose connectors inside the high-voltage battery packs may disconnect. If this happens, coolant can enter the battery pack compartments and cause a short circuit.
Safety risk
A short circuit in the high-voltage battery could create a fire risk, even while the bus is parked and turned off.
Corrective actions
Nova Bus will notify owners in writing and arrange for the high-voltage battery pack supplier (Akasol) to inspect and, if necessary, repair or replace the battery packs.
