Issue
On one G5 electric bus built on a Ford chassis, the wire connections on the vehicle charging port may not be properly crimped. As a result, the charging port connections could overheat. Note: The charging port is installed behind the Ford logo on the front grill.
Safety risk
An overheated connection could create a fire risk.
Corrective actions
Micro Bird will notify the owner by mail and advise them to contact Ecotuned Technologies, who will make arrangements to replace the charging port and the air conditioning refrigerant.
