Issue:
On certain scooters, the horn mounting screw could loosen and the horn could detach from the frame. If this happens, the horn could interfere with steering and cause a loss of steering control.
Safety Risk:
A loss of steering control could create a risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
BMW Motorrad will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your scooter to a dealership to replace the horn mounting screw.
