Issue
On certain RV trailers, the cargo-carrying capacity compliance label doesn't list the weight of the fresh water, hot water, and waste water tanks. The label is also missing a statement regarding how to calculate the cargo-carrying capacity. This could lead to overloading of the trailer and cause poor handling or a tire failure.
Safety risk
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.
Corrective actions
Riverside RV will mail a new compliance cargo-carrying capacity label to each owner. If you'd like help to install the label, you can contact a Riverside RV dealer to have it installed free of charge.
