Issue: On certain side-by-side UTVs, heat from the exhaust pipe can cause a body panel to overheat and melt. Specifically, this problem affects the panel that separates the front cabin from the rear cargo box. Safety Risk: A body panel that overheats could create the risk of a fire or a burn injury. Corrective Action: Segway Technology Co., Ltd. will notify owners and instruct you to take your UTV to a dealership to install additional heat shields along the rear panel and under the cargo box. To reduce the safety risk, Segway advises that you shouldn't use your UTV until the recall repairs have been completed.
