Issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the fuse and wiring on the control circuit for the refrigerator could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: An overheated fuse or wiring could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Pleasure-Way will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to remove the refrigerator fuse and wiring from the DCF4 circuit board (located above the battery box) and install a fused relay for the refrigerator. The dealer will also relabel the DCF4 board with the statement "Max 20A Fuse Do Not Add Extra Fuses". Pleasure-Way advises that you should not operate the refrigerator in the DC mode for an extended period of time until the recall repairs are completed.
