Transport Canada Recall - 2022422 - CUMMINS

Issue:
On one trailer-mounted generator set, there may be a problem with the control system. As a result, when the generator is connected in parallel with certain other Cummins generators, all of the generators may not shut down when a person opens the output box door.

Safety Risk:
An operator that opens the output box door and is unaware that other connected generators haven't shut down could risk an electric shock, burn, or arc-flash injury.

Corrective Actions:
Cummins will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their trailer-mounted generator set to a Cummins authorized service center to modify the electrical circuit to correct the door switch logic.
