Issue
Issue:
On certain RV trailers, the tail lamps may be incorrectly wired to the "ON/OFF" switch for the bathroom lights. As a result, the tail lamps, turn signals and brake lamps will not work if the bathroom light switch is in the "OFF" position.
Safety Risk:
Brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a person not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to re-wire the tail lamps. Forest River advises that you should always check to ensure that all lights are working properly before towing a trailer.
