Issue: On certain vehicles, the daytime running lamps and side marker lamps may not turn on due to a software problem. Note: If this happens, you may see a pop-up warning message in the instrument cluster: "Advanced front lighting features temporarily unavailable. See manual." Safety Risk: Driving without daytime running lamps and/or side marker lamps could make the vehicle less visible and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the headlamp control module software.
