Issue:
On a small number of trucks, a problem with the transmission actuator could cause the transmission to shift into a different gear than the driver selects. This could cause sudden or unexpected movement of the truck.
Safety Risk:
Sudden or unexpected movement of the truck could create a risk of injury or a crash.
Corrective Actions:
PACCAR will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the transmission actuator. PACCAR reminds that you should always use the parking brake each time that you park.
