Issue:
On certain RV trailers, the step treads leading to the upper deck of the trailer may not be properly attached to the step brackets. As a result, step tread(s) could detach from the step bracket.
Safety Risk:
Steps that detach could create a risk of injury.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to install additional bolts to secure the step treads.
