Issue

On one motorcycle, the wrong bolts may have been used to install the front brake caliper. As a result, the mounting threads on the fork could be damaged and the brake caliper could come loose. If this happens, the motorcycle could have reduced braking.

Safety risk

Reduced braking could cause an increase in stopping distance and create the risk of a crash.

Corrective actions

Zero Motorcycles will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their motorcycle to a dealership to inspect, and if necessary, replace front brake caliper bolts and fork.
