Issue:
On certain motorhomes, the heat shield between the exhaust system and the storage compartment is too small. As a result, heat from the exhaust system could melt the storage compartment
Safety Risk:
A storage compartment that melts could create the risk of a burn injury or a fire.
Corrective Actions:
Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to extend the heat shield above the exhaust system.
