Issue

Issue:
On certain vehicles, the front seat wiring could get damaged when adjusting a seat. If this happens, the airbag system may not work properly in a crash.
Note: Damaged wiring can cause the red airbag warning light to stay on in the instrument cluster.

Safety Risk:
An airbag system that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front seat wiring and secure it under the seat.
