Issue
On certain vehicles, the front seat wiring could get damaged when adjusting a seat. If this happens, the airbag system may not work properly in a crash. Note: Damaged wiring can cause the red airbag warning light to stay on in the instrument cluster.
Safety risk
An airbag system that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective actions
Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front seat wiring and secure it under the seat.
