Issue
On certain school buses, the positive battery cable could be damaged by contact with the transmission oil cooler hose. If this happens, the battery cable could short circuit.
Safety risk
A short circuit could create a fire risk.
Corrective actions
Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your school bus to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect and re-route the positive battery cable.
