Issue:
On certain vehicles, the headlamp connectors may not be water-tight. As a result, moisture could enter the headlamp and cause it to fail.
Safety Risk:
A headlamp that fails could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the headlamps and their connectors. The headlamp(s) and connectors will be replaced, if necessary.
