Issue:
On a small number of LR Electric trucks, a defect in the steering system could cause a loss of power steering assist during strong or fast steering inputs, like in an evasive maneuver.
Safety Risk:
A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort and create the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Mack will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
