Issue
Issue:
Certain vehicles could have a problem with the rear-mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM). This could cause the taillights not to work properly.
Note: This recall replaces FL-856 (Transport Canada recall 2020-383). Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.
Safety Risk:
Brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to contact a Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) authorized service facility to schedule a repair. The service facility will install a new wiring harness bypass.
