Issue

Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, the fresh air intake tube for the furnace may not be long enough and could disconnect. As a result, the furnace burn chamber could crack. If this happens, carbon monoxide could build-up inside the trailer when the furnace is used. Safety Risk: A build-up of carbon monoxide inside the trailer could result in carbon monoxide poisoning. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to install a longer fresh air intake vent.
