Issue:
On certain vehicles, the steering gear rack bar could bend. If this happens, it may be difficult to steer the vehicle or you could lose steering control.
Safety Risk:
A sudden increase in steering effort or a loss of steering could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the steering gear assembly.
