Issue

Issue: On one bus, the mounting bolt(s) for some passenger seats could be the touching chassis crossmember bolt(s). Over time, this could cause the passenger seat bolt(s) to break. If this happens, the seat(s) could come loose. Safety Risk: A loose seat could create a risk of injury for in a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their bus to a DTNA authorized service facility to install a spacer between the frame rails and body floor. This will provide proper clearance between the passenger seat mounting bolt(s) and chassis crossmember bolt(s).
