Issue
On certain vehicles, the warning lamp for the electronic stability control (ESC) system may not turn on when there is a problem with the ESC system.
Safety risk
A driver that is not aware of a problem with the ESC system could have an increased risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the antilock brake system (ABS) control module software.
