Issue:
On certain buses, the bolts that secure the steering gearbox can loosen. If this happens, the steering gearbox could separate from the bus and cause a loss of steering control.
Safety Risk:
A loss of steering could create the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Proterra will notify owners by mail and provide new steering gearbox bolts and mechanical fasteners (locking caps).
