Issue
On certain motorhomes, the nuts on the bus bar in the DC power distribution panel may not be tightened properly. As a result, the bus bar could overheat and melt other parts.
Safety risk
An overheated or melted electrical panel could create the risk of a fire.
Corrective actions
Tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect and tighten the nuts on the DC power distribution panel. On motorhomes with the optional larger 2000 W inverter, the dealer will also remove the bus bar from the DC power distribution panel, and replace it with a cable.
