Issue:
The speedometer and neutral indicator may not display when the motorcycle is started, if the instrument cluster temperature is below 0 °C.
Note: If this happens, the instrument cluster will display a black screen with an error message.
Safety Risk:
Riding a motorcycle without a speedometer or a neutral indicator could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Harley-Davidson will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to update the instrument cluster module software.
