Issue
Issue:
On certain trailers, the cover for the electronic control unit of the antilock brake system (ABS) may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the cover could loosen and cause a loss of trailer service brakes.
Safety Risk:
A loss of trailer brakes could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Great Dane will notify owners by mail and instruct you to check the ABS valve serial number to confirm if your valve needs replacement. If your valve does require replacement Great Dane will replace the iABS valve at Great Dane dealer or authorized repair center.
