Issue:
On certain RV trailers, the generator compartment may not be sealed properly. As a result, exhaust fumes and carbon monoxide could enter the trailer.
Safety Risk:
A buildup of exhaust inside the trailer could cause carbon monoxide poisoning.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your trailer to a dealer to inspect the generator compartment. If necessary, the dealer will apply sealant to any openings.
