Transport Canada Recall - 2021763 - VICINITY MOTOR CORP.

Issue:
On certain transit buses, a problem with the steering system may cause excessive forces when the steering wheel is turned as far as possible (full lock). As a result, the mounts for the power steering box could be damaged and the steering box could detach from the frame. If this happens, the driver could have a loss of steering.

Safety Risk:
A loss of steering could create a risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Vicinity Motor Corporation will notify owners in writing and provide them with directions for inspecting the steering box and vehicle alignment settings.
