Issue
On certain trucks, the parking brake control valve may wear and leak. In certain situations, this could cause the parking brake to release suddenly and the truck could roll away.
Safety risk
A parked vehicle that moves suddenly could increase the risk of an injury or a crash.
Corrective actions
Mack will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to remove the exhaust tube and fitting from the parking brake control valve.
