Issue
Issue:
On certain infant car seats, a plastic rod located in the center of the canopy (called a canopy stay) could break. If this happens, an infant could put a small piece of broken plastic into their mouth.
Note: This notice only affects Clek Liing and Liingo infant car seats made before September 15, 2020.
Safety Risk:
A child could choke on a small piece of broken plastic.
Corrective Actions:
Clek has designed a new canopy stay made of a stronger and more flexible material. Clek will mail a notice to all registered owners and provide you with instructions for how to get a free kit to replace the canopy stay. If you have not registered your car seat, or if you have moved, contact Clek to get a free repair kit. Note: Clek advises that it is safe to use your car seat while waiting to receive a kit to fix this problem.
