Issue:
On certain trucks, the work brake (also known as a winch brake) may suddenly release while using the winch. If this happens, the truck could move suddenly.
Safety Risk:
Sudden and unexpected movement of the truck could create a risk of injury or a crash.
Corrective Action:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to update the vehicle software.
