Transport Canada Recall - 2021708 - JAYCO

Issue:
On certain RV trailers, the exhaust exit for the water heater was installed too close to a slide-out room. As a result, exhaust fumes and carbon monoxide from the water heater could enter the trailer.

Safety Risk:
A buildup of exhaust inside the trailer could cause carbon monoxide poisoning.

Corrective Actions:
Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to relocate the water heater exhaust so that it is not directly below the slide-out room. To reduce the safety risk, Jayco recommends that you should turn off the water heater until the recall repairs have been completed.
