Issue

Issue: Certain trailer-mounted generators could have a defective circuit breaker. As a result, the generator may not have proper circuit protection. Note: This recall only affects Schneider Electric PowerPact L 250 - 600A circuit breakers with Cummins Part Numbers A057L891 and A055A272, that have certain date codes. Safety Risk: A defective circuit breaker could create a risk of a fire or an electric shock, burn, explosion or arc-flash injury. Corrective Actions: Cummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer-mounted generator to a Cummins authorized service center to inspect the date code of the circuit breaker. It will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.
