Issue
Issue:
On certain motorcycles, the brake pad retaining clips (also known as "R" clips) may not have been installed correctly. As a result, the brake pad retaining clips, securing pin and bracket could fall out while riding. If this happens, you could have reduced braking.
Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall 2021-543. Vehicles that were inspected or repaired under that recall require a second repair.
Safety Risk:
Reduced braking can cause increased stopping distances and create the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the front and rear brake pad retaining "R" clips.
