Transport Canada Recall - 2021692 - FOREST RIVER

Issue:
The compliance and the tire and loading information labels on certain RV trailers list incorrect information. The labels incorrectly list the tire size as ST225/75R15E, and an axle capacity of 2313 kg (5100 lb.). The labels should instead list the tire size as ST205/75R15D, and axle capacity as 1588 kg (3500 lb.). Additionally, the cargo carrying capacity is also wrong. This information could lead you to overload the trailer, which could cause poor handling or a tire failure.

Safety Risk:
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Forest River will mail corrected labels to each owner. If you would like help to install the labels, you can contact a Forest River dealer to have them installed free of charge.
