Issue

Issue:
On a small number of motorhomes, the wire harness for the alternator control module does not have proper circuit protection. As a result, the wiring could overheat and melt in an over-current (overload) situation.

Safety Risk:
Wiring that does not have proper circuit protection could create a fire risk.

Corrective Actions:
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to replace the alternator control module wire harness and inspect the electrical connections. Winnebago advises that you should not drive your motorhome until the Volta Power System is disabled.
